How to Use the Online Stopwatch

1. Start the stopwatch: Click the green Start button or press Space. The chronograph hand begins sweeping and the digital display counts up in real time showing minutes, seconds, and hundredths of a second.
2. Record lap times: While the stopwatch is running, click Lap or press L to record a lap. Each lap appears in the table below with both the individual lap time (time since the previous lap) and the cumulative split time (total elapsed). Visual bars let you compare laps at a glance — the fastest is highlighted in green, the slowest in red.
3. Stop and review: Click Stop or press Space to pause timing. The display freezes and shows your total elapsed time. Browse the lap table to analyze your performance.
4. Export your data: Click Copy to put all lap data on your clipboard (formatted as a tab-separated table), or click CSV to download a spreadsheet-ready file. This makes it easy to paste into training journals, reports, or analysis tools.
